Courses - Personal Finance

Personal Finance is a course designed to inform students how individual choices directly influence occupational goals and future earnings potential. Real world topics coverd will include income, money management, spending and credit, as well as investing and saving.
Students will design personal and household budgets; stimulate use of checking and saving accounts;demonstrate knowledge of finance, debt, and credit management; and evaluate and understand insurance and taxes. The students will be doing many small, real life scenario projects that they may need your help with. What better way for students to learn what it takes to run a household than to learn from their parents? so there may be times that they have to ask you questions about the bills, budgeting, retirement, etc.

This class is a new requirement by the state.
