Anderson County Five

Story by Cortney Hutchison

Tragedy often strikes when we least expect it, and those times give us an opportunity to help others. Wartburg Central High School gathered together wearing navy blue and gray, which is Anderson County High school’s colors, on Friday, March 23 to show support for the five Anderson County students that were injured in a car accident on March 20. “If I was in the same situation, I would want the same support,” says Emillee Carroll, BETA club president, who organized the event. Emillee contacted the teachers to spread the word and she had everyone who was in the picture do the mav hand.
